I say: Can everyone achieve social advancement through their own performance? I can only smile wearily at this distraction tactic. "DEI can be done by HR" – a common suggestion. Unfortunately, it's not a good one. Many topics certainly fall under People & Culture/HR teams, but many do not. I'm glad that I was able to debunk some DEI myths with Jennifer Seiffarth aka Die Personalabteilung in her podcast, including this one!
